I went to the o2 Arena for the first time!
I saw a concert for the first time!
This day was a lot of firsts for me. Music for the Marsden was a charity event to raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital. The whole night was focussing on cancer and the importance of raising money for cancer. My mum got a message from her boss about going to this concert because my mum had breast cancer. She was allowed to take someone with her and I was the lucky person who got to go along for the ride!
We started the afternoon off with a 3-hour coach trip from Wellingborough to the o2 Arena. It dragged, so much, but was so worth it.
When we got to the Arena, we had a browse around. I didn’t realise that there was a whole shopping centre connected to the o2 Arena. You could make a whole day out there. So we had a browse around and decided against a proper dinner as we had such a big lunch because we didn’t think there would be many restaurants to eat in, so we just stopped off at a costa and grabbed some cake and a caramel latte.
I came across the most beautiful wall which I just had to take a picture of.
Then, the fun began.
There were so many amazing people that sung and that joined in with raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Here are a couple pictures from the night.
I honestly had one of the nest nights with my mum. It is definitely something I am going to treasure for the rest of my life. I’ve already told Liam that I want to go to so many more concerts now, so watch this space!
Thank you so much for reading, please let me know if there are any concerts that you recommend going to, I’d love to hear what you guys recommend. Until next time lovelies.
